And I might die..

In just 2 weeks and 3 days, I am going here:

Pretty freaking amazing, right? I am pretty stoked and nervous at the same time. I love me a good hike, but this one is 10 miles in and 10 miles out with a heavy pack and I have never done that before. It's possible I might die. Especially on the way out. Since it's almost all uphill back. Last summer we went on a hike to Lake Blanche- it was only 3.5 miles one way and I thought about giving up and dying right there on the trail :), so....we'll see how this one goes. When I start to feel those little jittery, gonna pee my pants feelings, however, I just look at these...

...and I get so excited that I know it will all be so worth it!
Then, I see one of these....

...and have to start the process all over again :) Wish me luck!!

Good luck Becky! Maybe you should wear a diaper while you're hiking just in case you do pee your pants.

Ha Ha!! I will pray you don't die because that would be super sad for me. Probably Judd, too. I am sorry I can't come with you guys (S.F. will be okay, I guess, compared) because that water looks beeeeautiful.

Let us know how it goes! My hubby wants me to backpack and I am like---really!?! He is convinced I am NOT an outdoors-y person and I am convinced I AM an outdoors-y person but just different than he is! :)

You should just pay a few bucks extra and either have a mule or a helicopter take your pack for you. But alas, I survived it as a 14 year old, I am sure you will survive. Good luck and Enjoy.
