We went out to Stansbury Park yesterday to do the "4 way walk through" in our townhouse. CRAZY! They have the sheetrock up, and the superintendent said that it would probably be mid-to-late October when our townhouse is finished. I am so excited. It felt so crazy to be walking through OUR house with Judd and know that this is a new and exciting step in our lives together. In the meantime...we're moving in with the folks for a month and a half because month-to-month rent at our apartment complex is OUTRAGEOUS! We decided to save the almost 2,000 dollars we would've had to pay and buy some needed things for our townhouse. It's gonna be a little crowded to say the least. My sister and her husband and baby already live there, so we'll see how it goes. I'm super grateful for my parents because they never hesitate to help us out whenever we need it. They're the best! But it probably won't be much fun. Worth it though, that's for sure. Judd and I are planning on driving out in the next few days to take pictures of our humble home, and I'll post them when we do that!
My 3rd year of teaching started this week, and it was amazing to me how it just keeps getting smoother each year. I have a couple really tough kids, but the rest are ADORABLE (the tough ones are as well....they're just a little harder). I always am reminded why I am crazy enough to be a teacher when I meet these sweet little 5 year olds every August. They're so cute! I already have the best stories. I sure wish I could post pictures of them so you could see just how cute they are. Since I can't you all should just come and volunteer in my classroom so that you can see for yourself that I'm not exaggerating. They're all angels! I love my job! It's so rewarding to know that I have an impact on these little kiddos and that I have the opportunity to love and teach them for just a short while.
Judd started school this week as well. He has some really tough classes. I admire him for his dedication. I know his motivation comes vastly from his desire to support me and our future family, and I can't imagine the pressure he feels. He works so hard and I love him so much! We think we've figured out a way to make it so he can just work on Saturdays, which gives him a lot more time for studying and homework. I know he'll do great!
Well...that's all for now. Pictures should follow soon!!

Becky, I love you and it was so good to see you a couple weeks ago! I'm excited for you and Judd and the new house and can't wait to see pictures!
Becky -
This is Kara, how the heck are you. I found your blog by stalking a bunch of people. Oh my gosh you are moving into my neighborhood. Nathan and I live across the street form the Grist Mill. We have lived here since April. This is so crazy. We have to talk. Visit my blog.
That is so exciting! I am so happy for you and Judd to have your own little place! It is the best! I want to come and see it when you are finished!!
I'm so excited for you to have your own home! It's so nice to have your very own place. And I am glad that you are enjoying teaching! It gives me hope that it will just get easier. This year is MUCH harder than last year for me. I think it has to do with the fact that I started half year last year, and started beginning of the year this year. I didn't realize how much they don't know at the beginning. I am glad everything is going so well for you!
That is so exciting! I look forward to seeing the pictures. Since your townhouse will be done soon I say party at Becky's!
Congratulations on your townhouse! How exciting! It is amazing being in your own home. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Oh, and if I lived closer, I would absolutely volunteer in your classroom!
How exciting! Are things almost done now...since it's October?
I'm glad that school is going well too. It's always a good thing to enjoy your job.
