Who knew?

I've lived in Utah all my life and until I moved to Stansbury Park, I never realized that the Great Salt Lake is actually really beautiful! The view from 201 getting onto the on-ramp to I-80 is incredible, you would never know that it's a stinky, rather useless lake. And this is the view from my bedroom window every night (well, sort of...we're not quite that close)

Pretty amazing right? Sometimes I pretend that I live by the ocean. :)

Useless??!! How dare you??! It's useful for making that famous fart smell that floats through the air randomly in our neighborhoods!

HAHA to that first comment! So true. And I would totally imagine it to be the ocean too....(sigh)

I said "rather" April dear, not completely :). What would we do without the rotten egg smell?? It just wouldn't be the Salt Lake Valley without it!

It is really pretty isn't it! I started noticing that after my drives to and from the Tooele Campus.
